Andy's Man Club - It's Okay To Talk!

We are absolutly thrilled to announce that Andy's Man Club will take pride of place on the front of the clubs new home kit for the 2025-26 season, as well as appearing on the clubs training gear.

Iain Atkins "I think as a group of men, even though across the years the message has been there in the public domain more and more telling us all it's good to talk, there are people here to support you and you are not alone. There is still that stigma of head down, battle through alone."

"We hope that by encouraging the conversation through promoting the message via our match shirts on a Saturday and our training gear throughout the week and from social media/website coverage. If we can do our bit and help just one person know their not on their own, know there is support there then that is what it is all about."

ANDYSMANCLUB takes its name from Andrew Roberts, a man who sadly took his own life aged 23 in early 2016. Andy’s family had no inkling that he was suffering or struggling to the extent that he would do this, and as a result looked deeper into male suicide and men’s mental health. They soon discovered that male suicide is the biggest killer of men under 54, with male mental health surrounded by well-ingrained cultural stigma in the UK.

Elaine Roberts and Luke Ambler are Andy’s Mum and Brother-in-Law, together they came up with the idea of ANDYSMANCLUB, a group where men aged 18 and above can speak openly about their mental health in a judgment-free, non-clinical environment.

Groups now operate nationwide and are completely volunteer-led, with all group facilitators having first interacted with ANDYSMANCLUB when they came through the door as a service user.
